Which films are special to you, having taught you a message, or just leaving a simple impact on you? Films that mean something you each time you watch it. For me it's kal ho na ho, i don't know why but it's close to my heart. It's so simple and fun to watch, teaching me to ease up a bit. Please share your thoughts :))

Ahh I have answers to this question in the 30 days movie challege, so will just copy and paste them here 😃.

3 Idiots: Even though I was not an Engineering student in India, I have faced similar kind of situations here in Canada. Dealing with parents who have high expectations, trying to finish a curriculum in less than 4 months of time or fighting for the same job with 100 candidates, as students it has become a part and parcel of our lives. 4 years ago when I started applying to universities I had only 2 choices: study life science or engineering. I was pushed towards either becoming a doctor or an engineer (following on my dad's footsteps) from an early age. Up until this year my dad refused to see beyond the above mentioned career but thanks to my sister that has changed now since she refused to study anything but law.

Swades: Movie that makes you sit back and think. As an NRI myself I was to identify with the movie. The tough choices that we face regarding staying in a country you have lived in most of your life or going back to your homeland.

Dil Chahta Hai: Reminds me of the transition periods that I have faced and will face in life. The friendship between the 3 friends reminded me of my childhood and early school day sin India.

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun: One movie that I can watch with my parents, which is very rare now a days with the type of movies that are coming out. The movie also showed good amoutn if Indian culture and the lastly the movie makes me happy.

It was the first film i ever watched, and my mom tells me i because obsessed with it,to the extent that i refused to eat my meals unless HAHK songs were playing in the background...

Kal Ho Na Ho - beautiful message throughout the movie, not to let your problems cloud out the important things in life such as love family & friends. Life is too short to hold grudges/resentment =.

Hum Aapke Hain Kaun - Love this movie so much have watched? no of times nice family film, good knowledge of family relations indian culture and lots of fun.
Veer-Zaara- heart touching always gets me are there really people like this out there?!
Anjaana Anjaani - the dialogue i think Ranbir says sums it all up for me " mort ko hum ne kitne moke dete par zidagii ko kitne?..." We gave death many chances but how maby have given life? so just not to give up on life when problems but to face them.
