Indian Air Force officers announced on Tuesday evening that the IAF had no problems with Aamir Khan's latest movie Rang De Basanti and that they have not suggested any changes.
Speaking to rediff.com soon after the film was especially screened for Union Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee, they said the ball was now in the Censor Board's court.
The film -- which is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (of Aks fame) -- is said to refer to the MiG aircraft crashes.
The Air Force had taken serious objection to the way the IAF has been depicted in the film. Officers who had earlier seen Rang De Basanti claimed it showed the Air Force and the Union home ministry in a bad light. They demanded certain scenes be axed from the final print.
The Censor Board had referred the matter to the Ministry of Defense before certifying the film's final cut.
