Kareena arranges solar lanterns for handloom weavers in MP

In a laudable gesture, film actress Kareena Kapoor has arranged for 50 solar lanterns for handloom sari weavers of Chanderi in neighbouring Ashoknagar district
The actress had come along with actor Aamir Khan to village Pranpur in Chanderi around 18 months back for the promotion of the film 'Three Idiots'. Kareena arranged for the solar lanterns and one charging station for them through M/s Energy and Resource of New Delhi. The whole exercise cost Rs. 2.50 lakh to the actress, who made arrangements for getting it distributed on Sunday.

True Bebo. But hey, any publicity is good publicity. The more people read this thread, the more pages it has, the more people get exposed to the idea of solar lanterns. and that's the most important thing, doesnt matter if Kareena or PC is doing it.

^ Yeah the only thing that matters is these people are getting the help they need. I saw the video of this, and the guy said that he wasn't able to feed his family.
