BAHWUS was above average, BAH a semi-hit and APKGK a super hit.. according to Boxofficeindia.
There is a reason why BOi do not use simple hit and flop characterization and that's the same reason why semi-hits/average are not termed as outright hits.
The film grossed a net of Rs.21 crores in its first week. At the end of the second week, the film grossed Rs.31.20 crores and was declared a semi-hit. The film opened to mixed response from critics. Indiafm.com gave it 2.5 stars out of 5, with Taran Adarsh commenting, "On the whole, [it] has an interesting first half, but a weak second hour spoils the show." AOL India gave it 3 out of 5, with Noyon Jyoti Parasara saying, "Overall, Siddharth Anand seems to have hit the bull's eye this time after a not-so-great Ta Ra Rum Pum. At least the first half of the film looked like it would pull out Yash Raj out of the rot!"
U.S. critic Maitland McDonagh, who reviewed the film for both TVGuide.com and Time Out New York, said in the former that this "cocoon of brightly costumed beauties, gorgeous locations, bouncy musical numbers and breathless romance...is slick, mainstream entertainment with just enough surprises that you don't have to feel like a fool for enjoying it".
Wake Up Sid opened well both in India and overseas markets. Its opening weekend gross was Rs 215 million (Rs 21.5 crore) of which the India gross stood at Rs 170 million (Rs 17 crore). It was number one in the box office during its first and second weeks, number four during its third week, and number three during its fourth week.
In the United Kingdom, the film collected $165,934, while in the US, the collections stand at $717,977. By its fourth week, it grossed $348,351 in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Do Knot Disturb also released during the same time, but Wake Up Sid got a larger portion of the audience. After grossing about Rs. 42.75 crore, the film was declared a hit.

BOI is the gold standard every one follows to attibute the box-office status of a given film. Random critics comments prove zilch. it's all about distributer share and gross profit. If you click on the link I rprovided you will see that even De Dana Dan, which everyone derides as a flop of Katrina, was above average and TMK is a semi-hit. So, does that mean that Katrina has not given a single flop in the last 4 year? (Maybe with the exception of Yuvraj)
