OH PLEASE! You cant compare the issue to the Shoba De one! Shoba's a cranky old *BEEP* and the whole of the industry knows it. She's a nobody who think she's the Queen of India!

Sonam only said what she did about Shoba De because Shoba spoke rudely about Sonam (and Deepika, as well as others) for no reason! That's called standing up for yourself... Completely different from bitching work you yourself signed.

there could have been a certain level of decency in the way she stood up for herself.

shobha de is not a nobody... she was the pioneer of bolly based magazines in india..sonam's only proper credit so far is being the cover model of those magazines

Just because you dont like Sonam doesnt mean you can discredit all her work till now and label her as a 'cover model'. She's already worked with the likes of SLB, Rakeysh Mehra, YRF, Pankaj Kapoor...Somehow I doubt they'd sign her if all she was is a cover girl!

i dont think a girl who is not a starkid would gt so many opportunities to "improve"😆

so sad the likes of SLB, Rakeysh Mehra, YRF tried and failed

pankaj kapur is probably regretting his choice too

she is a great model though

You seem to have 2 different standards. When Sona bacha does it, its in retaliation or she is opinionated, but when Abhay speaks something mildly contoversial its not fine?

And yet she failed miserably. even established directors could not extract a decent performance of her. How bad an actress must she be then? The girl doesnt even know the 'A' of acting.

Is she wasnt a Kapoor girl, do you really think a director would have waited 6 months for the girl to lose weight so that she could act in his movie?

I disagree with people saying Sonam would make a good model. Sure, she photographs well from time to time but I seriously doubt she'd be good enough to own the runway like Mehr and Madhu used to or look half as fierce as Ujjwala and Lakshmi do on a consistent basis. Ironically, the difference between her and a model was most visible in Aisha when Sonam shared space with Lisa Haydon. IMO, Haydon owned her even if she didn't act much.
