🤗To Prateik. My mom always used to tell me how Smita Patil's son is only a month older than me and how she passed away a few days after giving birth. Very sad.

I don't like how he asked Prateik some of the questions. All the best to Prateik! He is an awesome performer like his mom

Was Smita Patel the actress with Amitabh Bachan in Namak Halal? I thought she was secretly killed by her husband? 😕

^^Yes, she was in that movie. Loved her in it.

No, she died from after birth complications. She was married to Raj Babbar. At least that is what I have heard

ya she was in a big mess because raj babbar was already married.

SHe was an awesome actress. Passed away soon after his birth. He has her face totally.

I remember Smita Patil very well. Shabhana Azmi and Smita Patil were always pitted against each other.A Natural born actress whos talented and supposedly very down to earth.
Her Marathi Movies were National Award winners. She started as a news anchor on Doordarshan.

Prateek has hopefully inherited her Acting Skills along with her Looks. If I recollect right she was 31 when she died..and Prateek was just 13 days old.

Raj Babbar then conveniently went back to his first wife...Dislike that person totally.

It was a shock to most of us...who were in our early teens. To see someone dying so young.

They look like her...She doesn't look like them. Smita Patil is the ORIGINAL.😳😉

I think Chitraganda has some uncanny resemblance. Even Shabhana Azmi commented on their resemblance.

Is it just me or does Prateik seem slightly uncomfortable in answering the question related to his mother? If so, I wouldn't blame him. But there seemed to be a hint of sadness in his eyes.
