According to a reliable source, Ranbir Kapoor was approached by internationally-renowned filmmaker Mira Nair for the lead role in her The Reluctant Fundamentalist. The protagonist in the film is a Pakistani who thinks global. But Ranbir is said to have not liked the part and thus turned it down. It is still not confirmed who will act in the film, which is set to take off in March.
