and obviously she is quite clearly referring to Ranbir... and why shouldn't she...? Ranbir does the same as well... except he plays the saint and goody two shoes... guys really are idiots, in general... everyone has faults... Deepika is no sati savitari... true... but she wasn't going around with other people when she was in a relationship with someone...! 😛😛😛

the hypocrisy on this forum, especially in case of men and women, has always amazed me... it's not a bad thing to have mood swings... she wished him on his birthday... okay... perhaps, she thought she should put the past behind, but it must be annoying to see Ranbir trying to act all goody goody, so she thought of showing him the mirror... nothing bad about it... 😛😛😛

and what good is remaining 'elegant and classy', when people term you as an ice maiden, ala Ash...! 😛😛😛 that's one perspective, but if she chooses to say something (which is already in the media as speculation)... there's nothing bad about it... well, except that some fans now can't claim that it was a figment of media's imagination that Ranbir was the one who cheated...! 😛😛😛

i guess she is still not over him... and of course, there must be bitterness, seeing as how he tries to act like such a nice guy who was always 'faithful' in a relationship, when he clearly wasn't...!! 😛😛😛

and yes, wouldn't you bash your ex if he claimed or hinted, that the relationship did not fail because of him but you.... yes, you may have been possessive, but you were not the one going around cheating on him...! 😛😛 it's very normal...!

Even though I find Deepika's outspokeness more appealing than her diplomacy, its high time she stops talking about Ranbir in every interview she gives!

When a relationship happens and ends between two people, it should remain with those concerned two people! Even for celebrities!

Deepika, by choosing to speak out about Ranbir and their relationship and how he broke her heart, betrayed her, two-timed her and what not, is spoiling his image (which I think is intended) and unfortunately, shredding her personal dignity apart (which I hope is not intended).

I am sure Deepika has lot of people in her life with whom she can share her grief of a broken relationship and heartily curse the philandering ex-boyfriend's of her's...its not necessary to wash dirty linen in public, all the time!

Somehow, I had always assumed that Deepika had more class than whine about her failed relationship in public! 😕

PS : Sometimes, Silence is Golden! (This is one lesson she can learn from a certain ex Ms. World!)

i agree with you, though, isn't Ash also called 'fake' just for that very reason... so really... as Eleanor Roosevelt said... "do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you'll be criticized anyway... you'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't...!

and while some people may think it's not classy (which is fine), but it is no reason to call her names or any such things...! and i sense bitterness but then i hardly blame her... i think she was and still is quite hurt by it...!

Coming back to your post, yes, that is sadly the hypocracy in our Industry and also in our society! And Aishwarya is perhaps one of the biggest victims of the 'Silence is Golden' virtue! (I have differing thoughts on this...but that's for another post perhaps!)

What I was trying to say was that while Deepika was being outspoken and frank for a change, she was also sounding exceedingly bitter and whiny!

I don't get one thing! Doesn't she realize that by talking about Ranbir so many times, good or bad, she is just proving that she is still to get over him! And she is being so contradictory! In her earlier interviews, she maintained such a dignified stance on it and then later refused to comment on it! And now lately, all she has been doing is talk about Ranbir's two-timing and cheating!

There are many things on which you can speak openly and become popular by being politically incorrect! Talking about your (failed) love life is probably the last thing one should be so vocal about! That's just my personal opinion!

I love the girl! Deepika is a good actress, she is beautiful to look at and she seems genuinly grounded and nice in all her interviews and public appearances! Perhaps that's why, I am so flabbergasted by her views on Ranbir and their relationship! (However true they are!)

Whatever happened to the era when actors actually went to great lenghts to cover up their personal life, especially when their films were releasing!!! Now its completely the opposite!😆

I remember the time when there was some gossip about Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit's affair and they both went blue in the face telling that there was nothing between them and that their detractors were spreading the rumors because 'Saajan' was on the verge of release!

I am seriously falling behind times! 😆

yes, it's usually better not to talk about it... but there's nothing wrong if one is not over their past completely... it is normal... and they might be celebs, but at the end of the day, they are also normal human beings... and it's usually frustrating to see someone portaying a perfect picture of themselves implying some not so good things about you... and deepika did take it all in her stride, but Ranbir really shouldn't have tested her patience.... there's a limit to tolerating everything...! that does not make her undignified or anything...! you only loose your dignity when you are lying or taking pot shots at others for no reason (and clearly, deepika does have a reason)... that is my personal opinion..!!

and no, if you were, we wouldn't be having this conversation so nicely... 😳😆😆 it's just i'm reading the other Deepika topic on the side...! yes, she is being bitter (i don't blame her), but i don't see her being whiny... 😕 and i should know... i have had the first hand experience, thanks to my little ones...! 😆
