Hi friends,

Sonam beats Sonakshi Sinha to be Shahid's girl

Pankaj Kapur's "Mausam' had a number of contenders for the female lead opposite his son, Shahid, like Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi, Govinda's daughter Narmada, and Alyque Padamsee's daughter Shazahn Padamsee.

However, looks like it's going to be Sonam Kapoor who takes away the cake.

According to sources, everyone on the unit of "Mausam' is glad to have Sonam join the team.

They are of the opinion that Sonam is a good choice for the role.

Supriya Pathak, Pankaj's wife, is the most excited of them all to have Sonam in the film. She got along with Sonam amazingly well during the shooting of "Delhi-6'.

Sonam was chosen for the film without an audition. While that is alright, the film was supposed to look for girls all over the country for the role. Apparently, the idea was dropped as it proved to be too troublesome.

It's not the problem of the actresses if Shahid is too short. He should have spend some more time in PT (and before someone asks me, PT is Physical Training courses that we have in our high schools, etc.) to help with his height. 😛😛

In any case, technology today can make anything possible, so height issue kya cheez hai. 😛

I don't think height will be a issue. Shahid isn't that short (though he is short). If they have the right chemistry, script, direction, I'm sure we'll forget about the height issue.

No Anu, no one knows as of now whos in Mausam opp Shahid. Some media are saying its Sonam but no official announcemnt has been made. Everyone is speculating and wanting their favs to be in the film. Hehehe

Oh so it's still not confirmed??😆.....just random articles floating around, haan?😆.....I had never thought they would consider Sonam for this movie cuz they were creating all this hoopla over finding a new girl or whatever....but now that it's been put out there, I'm intrigued...if the role is good, and she gets the chance to be directed by Pankaj Kapoor....that would be pretty interesting :-) I'm not gaga over any pairing here so I have nothing to say about that😆
