Ayesha laughing away The critics may have written off the bubbly glam doll Ayesha Takia many a times. But she keeps coming back every time with the message that she has a long way to go in the films. Rubbishing off the news telling about her plans to quit Bollywood, she tells that she is too much in love with Bollywood to give up films right at this moment. As long as she has a handful of assignments in hand all the time! She was effervescent in David Dhawan's comic carper 'Shaadi No. 1', and with more humor under her sleeves she is all lined up with her next release 'Home Delivery'. This Sujoy Ghosh's film releasing on 2nd December sees Ayesha donning the role of a modern girl. There's more coming up after that. Taking her steps towards offbeat films Ayesha is doing Naseeruddin Shah's debut directorial 'Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota'. After playing a lighthearted girl so far, it would be a kind of refreshing change to watch her in a grave role. The list of films for Ayesha continues with Subhash Ghai's 'Shaadi Se Pehle' to be directed by Satish Kaushik. She is paired opposite Akshaye Khanna and will be sporting a new look in the film. She chuckles "My persona is fully change with a different hair style and it will come as a new thing for the audience. I've worked on the role with the combination of look and talent. Just watch me on January and you'll know what I mean." Another big venture is her film with director Nikhil Advani titled ' Salaam-E-Ishq'. She again pairs up with Akshay Khanna in the film and co-stars with stars like Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Govinda, Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and Vidya Balan. The film is slated for next year. Ayesha and David Dhawan team up again for an untitled film, where she can be seen opposite Zayed Khan. So lots in store, up and coming for Ayesha and her fans! |
