John Abraham is taking his passion for motor-bikes to newer heights - after his plan of starting a bike magazine, the actor is now ready to lend his inputs and expertise to Yamaha for a special range of mean machines they are planning to launch next year.
"I will probably be picking a few bike parts, give them inputs while designing and stuff. Yamaha plans to promote it through me but it will happen only next year," says Abraham, who is also the brand ambassador of Yamaha.
Besides, the company has also gifted him a custom-made 1000 cc R1 model, with a gunmetal colour found nowhere in the world. "It is a one-of-its-kind bike. It has been designed especially for me and that makes it all the more special," says Abraham who has been burning the city roads with it lately.
Meanwhile, the actor has been reading a lot of encouraging reports on his recently-released movie, 'Garam Masala.' "I am glad that it has been declared a hit. It feels so nice," he adds.
But apprise him of his 'garam' status in the market presently and he turns humble: "I think Akshay (Kumar) deserves all the credit for 'Garam Masala.' I read somewhere that I was feeling bad because Akshay has cut my role. Believe me, that's untrue. Akshay is a brilliant actor and you can't take away that from him, and by saying that, I will not become a smaller human being."
But what about divided opinions on his comic timing? Abraham replies, "I know there is room for improvement. But Akshay was of great help. He pulled me up. From my end, I shouldered whatever I could."
