Rani's best performance...?

In which film do you think Rani gave her best performance? The above are just a few of her films, feel free to add more.😃

(Didn't put KANK intentionally; I doubt anyone liked her in that - and sorry to those who did.😆)

For me it would be Yuva or Hey Ram. Since you have Yuva up there I will vote for it.

My opinion only:

It's a tie between Hum Tum and Black. While in Hum Tum we saw her gorgeous self, in Black we saw her exceptional acting skills. I still cry when I watch Black, and I still fall in love with her every time I watch Hum Tum.

Then it would be Chalte Chalte - the sidhi sadhi and yet sexy housewife.

Oh, yes, who can forget Sathya - the film that changed her life.

I loved her in LCMD and Yuva as well - the film may not have been a commercial success, but her performance were great, and appreciated. As a matter of fact, she won the award for best side actress from Yuva (despite the film not doing great at the boz office) and got a nomination for best actress from LCMD.

I liked Rani more than Preity in Veer-Zaara. As soon as she entered the movie, she just took the entire light of it on her hand. She was terrific there. She was rocking in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, as well.

I have vague memory of her first movie but thought she was pretty darn good in that one. Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat--if i remember correctly!

Ranis a terrific actress!! She portrayes herself brilliantly in every film she does!!! She waz outsatanding in Black!

Rani is a terrific actress and she's proved that time to time.I LOVE all her performances simply because she's awesome in all of them.Some of her performances listed there are incredibly under-rated for example:

Chalte Chalte-She was just spectacular in the role.Even though the role was quite similar to Saathiya,but she differentiated between both the roles so well and blended extremely well.

Veer Zaara-She was the life and soul of this movie IMO.She was ofcourse better than Preity in it.According to me,She stood out the most in the whole film and she had a greater impact for me than Preity.Looked more like a Rani-Srk show for me rather than Preity-Sr.

(P.S.-Preity was good in VZ and I love her but Rani was better)

Bunty Aur Babli-I guess this one performance of hers is truly very underrated.She just glowed up the screen whenever she came up as Babli.The loudness,the cuteness,the bubliness of Babli couldn't have been portrayed better than anyone else.I thoroughly enjoyed her performance.It was excellent.

KANK-Many people may disagree with me but she was just BRILLIANT in the film.Her role may have been jinxed but that;s the way how it had to be.I mean her character had to be hated by people and that's exactly what the people did.That just shows she's a terrific actress! This performance of hers is unecessarily bashed and is very underrated.I was extremely happy when she won the IIFA for this.She rocked the movie along with Abhishek.

Laaga Chunari Mein Daag-Forget about the story or its fate at the box office but I guess she was brilliant as both Vibha and Natasha.She was astounding for me.The intensity she had in her performance,was just brilliant.And she looked gorgeous in the film.And her performance is very under-rated.

Her films may get trash reviews,they may flop at the box office but there's not been a single movie where her performance had been bashed.All the critics have always said that her performance is enthralling.Always.

And that itself says alot.

But I ended up voting for Black.That's truly her best performance ever.It took her to just another level.And this role also showed me that how dedicated and devoted she is to her work.

i concur with everything you've written.....😃...Rani is an awesome actress & i just love to see her onscreen. She has done some ill-fated films but nevertheless her performance in all of them has been excellent....

I like Rani in all her movies. She is very versatile.

Although everyone might say Black, I am gonna go with LCMD..It was the best movie ever. I still cry while watching it.
