Sri Ashtavinayak's multi-crore highly anticipated next, Blue will have a first of firsts as it will be screened for Hollywood bigwigs on October 3rd (2009).
Anthony D'Souza maybe a debutant in Bollywood but while working in LA when he directed the popular television series Ripley's Believe It Or Not, he met Amir Mokri, Mitchell Amundsen and Michael Bay and all four have remained good friends over the years. A print of Blue has already been flown to LA, and Anthony who is a very big fan of Michael Bay who directed the blockbuster Bad Boys and Transformers series is stoked to have his views of the film. Blue probably becomes the first Indian film to be mixed at the Warner Brothers studio.
Anthony spoke of his achievement saying, 'I've been a Michael Bay fan right from the time he made the Aaron Burr commercial. He's definitely my favourite director. Blue bears Bay's stamp. I had decided I'd show it to him when it was ready. Amir Mokri and Mitchell Amundsen are confirmed for October 3. We're waiting for Michael's confirmation.'
Now this would be something indeed!
