Both films revolved around the adventures of Jack Colton (Douglas) and a writer (Kathleen Turner). Well, an interesting bit of news is that Bollywoods very own Aishwarya Rai will most likely play the lead role with Douglas. The film will also star other Indian actors, yet to be determined.
Production will begin in early 2006. Looks like Aishwarya is flying high after the success of "Bride and Prejudice" in the UK and its also about to release in the US in February 2005.

Rushdie wants Aamir Khan for his short story
Renowed but controversial novelist Salman Rushdie is planning a film based on his short story, The Firebird Nest.Rushdie told the press in London recently that he expected to complete the script by the middle of of this year. He also said that the film would star his wife Padma Laxmi with Amir Khan, provided Aamir agrees to act in it.
X'sive: Police to form Policy on obscene posters
The Social Security branch Mumbai Police following the controversy raised over obscene posters of Pooja bhatt's ROG has decided to formulate a policy concerning the publicity of 'A' certified films. According to DCP Sanjay Aparanti within the following days the police would be approaching the Censor Board, producers/distribution associations and BMC with a request to frame guidelines on the publicity and advertisement of 'A' certified movies. As for the BMC's role it allots space or grants permission for putting up these hoardings.
