Amrita Rao steps into Katrina`s shoes

After their hit pairing in Partner, Katrina Kaif was approached for an extended cameo opposite Govinda in Life Partner, being produced by Abbas-Mustan.

As Katrina cited her inability to do the film as she was headed to London, the makers have roped in Amrita Rao opposite ChiChi, who plays a divorce lawyer in Rumi Jaffery's second directorial venture.

The other couples in the film are Fardeen Khan-Genelia D'Souza and Tusshar Kapoor-Prachi Desai.

Life Partner releases worldwide on August 14 by Studio 18.
