i felt ash deserved the award because she really suited her role in JA, although pc was amazing in fashion as well. it was really uncalled for though how ashutosh behaved because one thing its really horrible to make such remarks on a public platform and its really disrepectable to pc , i mean how would he feel if someone said about him that how did u win the award when madhur was also nominated for fashion, so he should think before he speaks, plus hes working with pc in his new movie so i can't believe how he can be so disrespectable to his own actress. i hope pc doesn't dwell over his statements though because she is a hard working actress who is doing well for herself so wht he said shouldn't affect her.

Personally, i dont think Aishwarya deserved the award. I believe she deserved the award that she had won for hum dil de chuke sanam and devdas. those were magnificant performances. She looked the part for Jodha Akbar very well but I felt that Hrithik was more convincing as Akbar than she was as Jodha. I felt Priyanka's performance was very natural n Ashutosh's behaviour was very sour. I understand u feel for ur film but u cant deny a good actress her due either. That night was meant to be a night where the award winners r meant to be felicitaed. i suppose, priyanka was feeling humiliated rather than happy. n y drag someone else's name (jaya Bachchan) to save ur sinking boat? either way, u made a big mess!

Priyanka is working with him in what's your rashi? I wonder if she doesnt win the award for that film, will he stick up for her and speak against the actress who wins the award?

srk had won the award for swades, (though was appreciated as a film, it was a flop). did he feel proud of the fact that srk had won an award for his flop film? 😕

one shud raise their voice with determination to make a gd change, not to ridicule someone. I guess it would be wise if Ashutosh launched his own award function, he can then choose who he wants as a winner n who can say what (ashutosh) feels is right.

I'm not a fan of Aishwarya ji or Priyanka but I watched both JA and Fashion and felt Aishwarya ji was better and deserved the award.Priyanka was good in Fashion but Kangana impressed me the most.
Wasn't right on Ashutosh's part to say that publicly especially after creating a fuss the last time about Sajid.

As a die-hard Ash fan I think Ash deserved it, but I love in everything! I would been thrilled, but Priyanka won and she should be applauded! The fact of the matter is that both females work hard and their achievements should be respected and not demeaned! Ashu shouldn't have said that, but I wanna still see the clip b/c there was a whole debate about Ash being pissed at Priyanka during her Filmfare acception speech! Later, when watching the clip, Ash was smiling and Priyanka didn't say what the tabloids said she did! So, it's kind of early to get carried away, especially when the media cuts and pastes and dissects everyone's words, and they tend to over analyze every little word! So I'm gonna save my anger and rage until I actually see what Ashu said and see Priyanka's and Ash's reactions!

omg if Ashutosh really said this then thats really low and definitely disrespectful. personally i believe Priyanka rightfully deserved best actress!! although Ash did a splendid job in JA as well! but im glad Priyanka got the award!! and Ashutosh shouldn't have said anything like this in public!

Ashu won his award but that wasn't satisfying enough for him that he had to use the platform for his acceptance speech for this?

Itna gussa for Ash losing out, I wonder what he would have had to say if they didn't give him the best director award? Would he have called out a press meet to show his displeasure?
