The fact that Salman does not take too kindly to her association, professional or otherwise, with any of her co-actors is now taking a toll on her public appearances where she needs a partner. A source said, "With Salman keeping a constant vigil on Katrina's life and phone bills, Katrina's co-stars are growing increasingly wary of being paired with her. Ironically, the opening question on the inaugural episode of 10 Ka Dum was, 'How many Indian men keep a tab on their partner's phone bills?' Considering the recent gossip about Katrina's involvement with Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham, they will not accompany her on the show. For obvious reasons, Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan too are completely out of question." Katrina, of course, has the option to take along a female actress. But our source, who thinks otherwise, said, "Half of the actresses, beginning with Priyanka Chopra, do not get along with Salman. The other half, starting with Bipasha Basu, are not on amicable terms with Katrina. So who does that leave Katrina with?"
Chances are Katrina will go the Kareena Kapoor way. Kareena appeared on the show with sister Karisma Kapoor, and Katrina too might finally come on the show with her sister Isabel. |
