My intention was not to create gimmickry with the title. Since everyone's mean in the film, it was apt. Some are lovable Kaminey and some are obnoxious but all are running high on lust and desire. Everybody was against me using this title, but when I bounced it off Gulzar Saab, he loved it!

Genre:

Kaminey is a caper and falls in a genre never been explored before in India
properly. Initially I had thought it would be easy to write and make but it turned out to be tough to write and even tougher to make.

The film has a wide array of characters who all have equal intensity and yet there is no time to establish them. One has to catch them in the flow of the story and yet make them memorable. Exploring such a territory and then topping it up with some bollywood masala and romance has been rigorous and unsympathetic.

My 4 year old is Shahid's fan, well she calls him Geet's Adi(I covered her ears at the kutte kaminey part!😆), and asked me ke bua whats the name. Haye, she's 4!!! This movie I do want to see ji, but the name......lol.

Nonetheless, I'm excited for this movie.....no matter how much I go haawww over the name, it's one intriguing name for a movie!

that's soo cute... is that your niece...? heheheh...

well, i'm looking forward to the movie but i have to be careful because my 2 year old has become a parrot nowadays, i.e. keeps repeating whatever she hears... 😆😆😆

Lol, yes, she's my neice. I have all my nieces and nephews all curious over this movie, and their parents just say ask bua/massi. Supposedly it's supposed to help me with my own kids.

I can understand, my 2 year old neice is like that as well. Her daddi called gadhi, and now she's saying papa is gadha, mummy is gadhi, bua gadhi too, dada gadhi, etc. 😆

I hope this movie is worth this much trouble in my life ji!😆

hehehe.... kids are like that... but it's a lot of fun so i wouldn't have it any other way... 😊 as my husband says, we have a 24 hour entertainment channel between the two of my kids... lolz..

i hope soo... it's vishal's movie so i am hoping its sensible and it is good fun to watch as well... 😊

It was soooooo amazing of him to post in Kaminey's facebook group!! Vishal, you rock!

I think characters are the strength in Vishal's movies and from his past movies and from what Shahid and Priyanka are saying, looks like he has developed Sweety, Guddu and Charlie's characters very well too. Cant wait till Kaminey comes out!

Could the end be the lyrics of some song?! :O

See it is funny when a kid speaks no hindi and then friends come over and teach them Kute Kaminey...and when they sy it out in thier own sweet accent it is funny.

But I believe in telling girls even though they are very small (8 yrs old) all about things. I told them that in INdia Kute Kaminey is an abuse. I even told them about the babies and other stuff. I tell them things according to the time when they face them. Like I told them about babies when their school counselor was pregnant. I do not believe in "bun in the oven" kinda of explainations. Kids are very smart. They have sooooo much retaining power.😃
