Asin will be Princess in 19th Step,A Japanese Flic

Now, another actor known for his innovative skills and daring approach, who sets bench mark for many technical aspects of filming, is on the path to produce a pure International. Yes, it is none other than Kamal Hassan and the foreign production house is Walt Disney and the local partner is Bharath Bala.

The background is Kalaripayattu. It is a martial art from Kerala, India, which is said to be ancestor of Karate and Kung Fu. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan have generated enough interest on martial art among the world audience and this attempt of Kamal Hassan, if made in an acceptable style can sure become a jewel in the crown of Indian cinema which is already in limelight in International arena.

Titled as " 19th Step", this project is expected to start its production sometime in August 09 and will be primarily in English as well as Japanese and also in Tamil.
