Karan johar movie "Dostana" was copy from Hollywood (HW) gay movie. Since when bollywood(BW)start making gay movie. Gay things is HW thing. Not BW

Is bollywood turning into Hollywood I mean all movies we have seen in BW. Only actor and actress only in movies never gay things. It's first time BW karan johar (KJ) make gay movie.

So what next Karan Johar gonna make probably lesbian movie.😆 Nooo wait I know what karan gonna make Next will be BROKEBACK MAOUTAIN😆and gonna put lead again john and abhisheik.
why BW so try to be like Hollywood cant BW follow there own culture. Gay thing is HW thing not ours.

what do u mean by the gay thing is a hollywood thing not a bollwood thing?

i mean that hollywood been making gay movies long time i mean bollywood never done in our film industry like in 60, 70 when old movies were made. Now bollywood start making gay movies too like hollywood.
bollywood isnt like that before. now it change so much. Much like hollywood movies. dont u think?

Depends which point of view one wants to take. We have a variety of genre available now be it due to the fact that the societies are evolving. Civil rights have well been established in most countries (don't know about India) so it may not be a taboo to portray homosexuality in movies. And homosexuality is not restricted within the vicinity of Hollywood. Will be utterly crude to say such is the case as anyone from any culture/country could very well be a homosexual.

Homosexuality is still very much taboo amongst indians all over and thats the reason why Bollywood has refrained from making such movies. As Pichchi stated that socities are evolving and that would probably be the way Bollywood is going too. There was probably nobody brave enough in the past to make such a movie cos indians like to keep things like this in the closet. Hollywood is much more open and therefore made such movies. If we look at lovemaking scenes and the dressing of actresses...that too has evolved drastically from the past till now. Infact i wud say the dressing is worse in bollywood movies now.

There is nothing wrong with it the way you put it makes it so wrong. Yes its a taboo but why ?!?! its peoples lives they should be able to live how they want to. As for movies its good different genres are being made. Umm have you heard of girlfriend if you have a problem with dostana you might want to google that(was going to say youtube but best not to lol)

well gays n lesbians r part of every society n saying dat this is a hollywood thing is sumfin complete non sense...ppl ve dis misconception dat homosexuality is a westernized concept..well dats not true..it can exist anywhere..n i think its gud dat bollywood is finally making an attempt to aware ppl that it exists in india equally as it exists anywhere else..
