Neil's jailhouse snip

For his role in Madhur Bhandarkar's Jail, Neil Nitin Mukesh needed to lose weight, change his body language and cut his hair.

Preparation have already begun in Philadelphia where he's currently shooting for Kabeer Khan's New York. Neil has been watching as many prison/prison-break stories as possible.

He says, "I've already seen The Shawshank Redemption, The Great Escape and many other prison stories. And I've gone through the entire Prison Break series. I want to get all the facts about life in prison right before getting on with the film," says Neil who also intends to lose weight to get into character.

I Khan do it

Also on the anvil for the jailbird's part is the cutting off his hair. "I'd cut it to a near-tonsured top like Aamir in Ghajini. It depends on the continuity for the other films. Since I do one film at a time, I see no problem in preparing."

After Jail, Neil's all set to do an out-and-out thriller with Abbas-Mustan in March 2009.
