Akshay Kumar asks Salman to tie the knot with Katrina
Mumbai, Aug 09: Contrary to popular reports that Akshay Kumar turned down Sallu's offer to grace the sets of 'Dus Ka Dum' along with bodyliicious babe Katrina Kaif, the latest update is that the show has been shot and done with. As expected, it was filled with fireworks and tongue-in-cheek remarks that the two macho men poked at one another, while the delicate doll Katrina had a whimsical confused look on her face.
If the audiences present at the show are to be believed, the episode featuring the real life jodi Katrina-Salman and the reel life hit pair Akshay-Katrina, would surely bang all TRPs garnered by any channel till date.
According to sources, the cold vibes between the two actors were far more than visible. However, unlike the other shows where the guests are taken aback by Salman's slapstick comments, it was Akki this time who took charge and fired some ultra personal questions at Salman.
Akshay is even reported to have asked Salman as to 'why doesn't he get married to his beautiful girlfriend Katrina?'
A newspaper even quoted an insider saying, "Salman who has never admitted to his relationship with Kaif, didn't like this public outing. But Kumar didn't stop here. He went on to tell the host that he has a nice girl like Kat and he should treat her properly. Then he added the final blow saying that Kat was young and Sallu was getting old, so he should think hard about settling down as one shouldn't be alone at his age".
What's surprising is that Salman, who looked visibly annoyed, did not give into his anger and moved on with the show gracefully.
All we can say is that after the popular Sallu-SRK spat, only Akshay would have had the 'dum' to do such a gustakhi.
