Shahid dances his heart out

Shahid Kapur whose skills on the dance floor are impressive, will have two elaborate dance numbers choreographed by James Martin Kudelka who regularly with Justin Timberlake and also Janet Jackson. Popularly known as Marty , Kudelka will train Shahid in Ken Ghosh's new untitled film.

Ken Ghosh says, "Shahid and I have been brainstorming over the film's choreography right from the start. As he plays a performer in my film, we wanted the dance moves to look different from what we usually see in Hindi films. Both Shahid and I liked Marty's work with Justin."

Ken says that contacting the ace-choreographer wasn't that difficult.

"You'd be surprised how easy it is to get in touch with these talented people of the American entertainment industry," he says.

Now that Marty is on board, how much of the typical Bollywood essence will remain in the dance movements?

"As far as I'm concerned, none at all. The whole idea of getting Marty is to make Shahid dance like he has never done before," adds Ken.

Shahid says, "This is my third film with Ken Ghosh. He' s the only director I've worked with more than once . So yes, there's a comfort level where we can exchange ideas without the fear of causing offence. I play an entertainer in the film, which is why we wanted the performances to stand out."
