Laxmi and Mehek patched up the day before eviction in the morning. Their bed is right next to Vida and Shonali's and they were watching Laxmi and Mehak patching up. Before Sanjay asked Laxmi to come out, they were perfectly normal. Laxmi even wanted Mehak to stay on. I still maintain Mehak was a predictable choice and vven if not Mehak then it would have definitely not been Shonali. It would have been her beta Amar.
