A good journalist would have raised the condonation of violence by Vikas. They would have asked if violence is accepted in BB.
This was a farce thrust on viewers.
See today's ED where Arshi is praising Shilpa and telling her that Arshis mother fired her for being rude with Shilpa.
Yet another attempt to worship Deviji.

Journalist were given a list of things to say and not to say .. I doubt there was liberty to question the contestants as they pleased. There are many issues that should have been addressed and questions that should have been asked.. but I doubt bigg boss would allow it ..
sorry but it is a bias

On a serious note two points first, they can ask only about the things shown in the main episode. Second we are not shown the full session so we don't even know that weather it was asked or not.

Because that press conference was a sham, arranged to glorify Shinde and put Vikas/Hina/Dadlani down. Because it makes for bad optics - once you openly acknowledge that your front runner is a homophobe, a racist s**t shamer, and does the exact same things that you bashed others for - i.e. disrespecting mothers, bullying, and defaming on outside issues - the pure wronged innocent, dukhyaari bahu narrative becomes rather impossible. By not acknowledging it, and by keeping pertinent clips out of the main episodes, they can pretend it all away.

Because journalists were selected to support Shilpa. Those things you mentioned were not in the script. So how did they point the deserving issues?

They weren't renowned journalists anyway, all unknown faces and one of them was exposed as a close associate of Shilpa with their together pic splashed all over twitter. She has been continuously tweeting and campaigning for Shilpa on social media platforms...

It wasn't a real press conference, just a total sham to promote their fixed winner..

Shilpa is doing a show with colors after she is out... it's on Bollywood life...explains it all..
