I have to say I loved the episode inspite of Arshi's exit and Vikas' tears. I haven't seen any of the post show chat here, so sorry if I am being a broken record. For me, the high points were:
1) Salman wearing black and black AND him mentioning it as well to Vikas. Vikas shouldn't need a bigger motivation than that in fact.
2) Salman referring to Vikas twice as "soya hua sher" and sending a not-so-subtle anti-bullying message to Punish. If people in the house are intelligent everybody will pick up on it.
3) Salman again saying to Vikas that if somebody had hit him on the head like Akash did during the show, he would have given him a solid lash. It actually substantiated Vikas' desperate action against Akash this week in jail. Fantastic 👏
4) Not a word about the kiss-breath hungama issue.
5) Vikas' opinion as sanchalak sought and legitimised. Hina lost her stand in Vikas' very articulate reply.
6) The tissue paper Hiten eviction issue cleared without any fanfare and quite dismissively at that.
7) Vikas speaking highly of Arshi even after eviction contradicted with her speaking nonsense about him post eviction on stage.
8) Vikas pointing out the excellent fact that Shilpa's gift to Arshi was just formality and he was just trying to say Arshi loved her at the end of the day.
9) Not a word about Vikas-Priyank relationship inspite of Hina taking extra effort at bringing it up.
10) Priyank going over and holding hands with Vikas as an act of solidarity with him on the couch.
11) Vikas' excellent stand for himself during voting. He knows that akele aaye hain aur akele hi jaane bhi padega. He will survive.
12) Salman's reaction finally when Arshi says Vikas will fall in her absence. He was not pleased with it. He knows Vikas' worth.
13) Also Salman pointing out in the beginning that Vikas seemed to be regaining his old self after they informed that he was safe.
14) Edit: How could I forget this one?! Vikas' beyond the world cute two moments:
a) His Merry Christmas
b) His reaction when Salman mentioned his hair cut.
BEYOND CUTE 😳 I want gifs of those moments 😭
I am impressed with Salman. I did not expect him to handle this episode so maturely.
And when it was such a positive episode, why are people feeling down here? I am confused. Did I miss something? Just because of Arshi's eviction and its impact on Vikas? I don't know what today's ED shows, but I sure have peace in my heart. Vikas knows he will have to try hard and get back to what he was. He had better do so when we are out here for him.
That said, tomorrow might bring in something not so great for Vikas, but until then, I will do whatever I want to do 😆
