Elimination came as a shocker? Right?

Yes, most certainly. A few days before elimination I was getting highest audience votes and suddenly I get eliminated, it was shocking. But then it is a show, Kushal Tandon getting eliminated mid week creates more buzz I guess, than going to the finale.

You were tagged as brat and arrogant? Would you agree on that?

If someone misbehaves with my sister, my girlfriend, my loved ones, I will be angry. If I take a stand on something I stick to it till the end, no matter what. If defending and standing up for your loved ones makes me a brat, so be it.

All your fights involved Gauahar Khan? Today when you contemplate, do you think you could have played the game differently?

Not at all. I loved the way I have been in the show. And I am too young to play any game. I just went with the flow. When it comes to Gauahar, I love her and I did what every boyfriend would do.

You guys are really in love, right? No show for the camera?

We have proposed each other in front of the entire world and our feelings were genuine. 20 people were there, two young people met, got attracted and fell in love. What's so fake about it? I love her a lot and we will explore our relationship once she gets out of the show. A certain holiday (of them together) is very much on the cards. But I am not talking about it (laughs).

So now let's talk about you and Salman Khan? What's the real deal between you two?

I have no deal or any issue with Salman. He is a great person and he likes me a lot. Yes he did bash me a lot on many Saturdays but then he is a host doing a job as told by the creatives. Salman bashing Kushal was giving more viewership. So be it. It's a show and the best one could do is to listen and keep quiet. Off camera, we have a great rapport and I am also attending is birthday bash tonight.

Going back in time, do you think apologizing to Tanisha would have put you in a different light in the show?

I don't know in what light I have been put. But yes, I never abused Tanishaa using crass language like other contestants did to other female inmates. Yes, there was a spat and I did whatever I could to resolve the issue. But there are certain things that never pan out the way you intend to. Best is to let go and move on.

What have you gained and lost by participating in Bigg Boss?

I have lost nothing and have gained a lot. The biggest things being the love of my fans and of course, Gauahar.

Contestants you don't like at all?

Ahh...I don't like Tanishaa, for obvious reasons and also Rajat. He talked a lot about me which was not needed. And with Armaan I have a love-hate relationship, when we fight we fight like crazy, or else we are all cool.

Of course, you want Gauahar to win this season. If not she, then who else?

If not Gauahar, then Heaven. No one else deserves to win.

Great. Finally, future plans?

No television for some time now. Movies, yes. When something materializes, I will share it with my fans.
