Its all a farce .Both Armaan and Sofia getting footage and importance in news than they deserve . I found this picture online somewhere . This is so true in many cases . Many get raped and go through much more horrendous things and never gets noticed . Sofia was scratched by a broom and police act with such urgent manner . There is no doubt Armaan needs a good lesson in respecting others and stop intimidating people but this case will fizzle out as its not strong at all . This will teach him nothing only will make his ego much bigger than it already is .

This cartoon shows exactly what is wrong with our society and thinking...so just because a woman wears skimpy clothes...means she need not be taken seriously...the person who made this cartoon would be the first one to blame the victim of rape if she was a modern girl...maybe dressed the way Sofia is dressed...Every single complaint that comes from a woman whether its rape, abuse, sexual assault is equally important...Just because we tend to ignore the smaller complaints...is the reason that a girl in Delhi today cannot walk a mile without being eve-teased...Its the job of the govt. and police to take care of their citizens...and no complaint should be of lesser importance than the other...

To the MORON in the opening post who asked all those questions...and I don't mean the topic maker but the person calling the Sofia supporters as morons...the one thing that I wouldn't do...if a woman is sexually assaulted or any of the crimes happening to her it JUDGE her and call her complaint a publicity stunt...

So you mean unless the clothes of a woman is torn and some blood is spilling out a woman shouldn't go and report the violence against her to police?

Yes, the police doesn't register the FIRs of common citizens but it is the fault of the POLICE and the system...not of other woman whose FIR gets registered
yes the system is like that most part and yes police pay very little attention to not so famous people ...yes anyone can give complaint if the reason is valid and its my personal opinion that she is doing this much scene and talking to media just for some attention and some 15 min fame .

That picture depicts how our society works in general and how the justice system works rich vs poor ...not how a skimpy clothed girl deserves any less ...the point I put here is not just because she wear such clothes she should not get any justice . I have many friends around me at work and personal life who wear very modern way . I never judge people by their attire ...my point is why Sofia case got so much attention when a normal person has to go around for long for justice . Why can't media make such noise for aam admi . Yes I think this is a publicity stunt by Sofia from my point of view .

Now even I think this whole thing is a bull. I was supporting Sophia because of Armaan's behavior towards, but someone rightly pinged out that whether she has put charges against her uncle who raped her? Sophia seduced Sangram to win a task, but I still thought that she never deserved that behavior. She went overboard with whole police thing to defame Armaan.

Sure.. Even I am supporting Sophia's stunt..
Just that, even after being a feminist, I don't THINK this was anywhere related to violence against WOMEN in particular.. As Armaan has done the same with guys too .. And he hardly discriminates between guys and girls while fighting !! So politicizing this issue as violence against women is bullshit according to me.. It's normal violence case !
