Because he was getting senti over her and Kushal. It would annoy anyone. Mazak is mazak till a limit. She still laughed off his antics that day when he was singing that song and giving her and Kushal lovelorn looks. So, Kushal got irritated and told her she encouraged him. To which Gauhar rightly said she was always polite and laughed it off. Gauhar is minding Ajaz's antics now cuz of his new devdas mode and taking everything to heart.
