Who is bigg boss?

Who is bigg boss? I just started watching this show and I thought salman was bigg boss in the big inning but now I'm wondering who this big boss is. I mean everyone talks to him/her, and he's invisible. What's the meaning behind that? And what's with this one eye popping everywhere...it's very weird! Today Salmaan was telling Imran that you must be careful big boss is watching thru one eye...is this show based on some illuminati shit? Seems like Salman has also sold his soul to the devil for being the host of such a show and supporting it! This might explain the reason behind his sudden success and his bakwaas movies being superhit at the box office...hmmm nonetheless I watch this show for entertainment nothing else! It's alright for time pass...

Bigg boss is similar to big brother in western world .. concept is 'one who watches everything' , 'keeping an eye on what u up to' ... since all the surveillance is done thru camera there is no physical person shown to keep the myth ...

This show is based on the show "Big Brother" from the Netherlands. It has been a successful show in about 70 countries, most of them were called the same (im not sure about tht), only in India it is called Bigg Boss. I have no idea why it is not called "Brother" in India, but I assume because ppl might not get the authority position out of the Brother than the "Boss". The concept of this show is mostly of "Big Brother is watching you!" or "..keeping an eye on you" ... Big Brother/Bigg Boss is the "owner" of the house and keeping an eye on whatever his "guest" are doing... The ONE eye i dont think has anything "devilish" to do with, it is more the "CAMERA-EYE", which obviously is one. Oh and y "Bigg Boss" is kept hidden i have no idea, i guess the voice without face is more "strict" and gives no chance to bound with the "owner" of the house, which keeps his "guests" in a position to b "obedient"... but even in all the other countries it has always been an ordering voice only.

The concept is based on a book called Big Brother where the government has cameras everywhere and everyone is under surveillance. In the novel its not clear whether Big Brother was one person or just a personification of the government. Its the same in the show, its a whole production team but one voice that represents it. The eye is just to symbolize the fact that they are always being watched.
