How about, mental, sexual and economic abuse?

I know somebody who is draining his wife's savings while hardly being serious about his own career and his wife works like a bull making ends meet.

What hurts you more ? --- A dog barking or a Dog biting ?🤔 -- / If someone verbally abuses you, take it as a dog barking /:P 😉 (at least when comments come from people who do not matter to you)

Emotional abuse is a different story altogether IMO. You can have emotional connect with people you trust or know well, and not with strangers. The abuse there can affect you but again its subjective and varies from person to person !!@

I think majority of us have not faced physical abuse. But you can stop an assaulting hand; how can we stop an assaulting tongue?

Physical abuse is rare and not everyone can do it. While emotional abuse can be done by anyone without getting their hands dirty regardless of physical strength or guilt.

People can be abused emotionally for hours or even days or years in some cases. And nobody can point a finger at the abuser because there will be no evidence of it.

I have experienced both. Dog biting hurts 100 times more. and you are still emotionally scared. Physical includes emotional also. its traumatic.

imagine someone beaten up. You are scared to put a step outside of your house.You get nightmares for days. So that is an Emotional trauma too.

No one has experienced the real 'cruel' world. All stupid replies based on 'BB house/favorite contestant' 🥱

Both would hurt coming from someone you trust. Physical abuse; the signs/scars may heal but emotional abuse not so easy. They are not always exclusive of each other. Physical violence accompanies the emotional brunt by the perpetrator.

So in a way physical abuse is worse.
