It's not about Andy or Vivek. Yes, I agree with you that Andy is no better, but Kushal's general attitude towards homosexuals or transgender / effeminate people is very sickening. It's OK to have thoughts, but to constantly express them on national TV doesn't really suit his image as a well-known, mainstream TV actor. He needs to be a little more broad-minded than that.

You almost wonder whether Kushal may be closeted himself. Those sort of reactions too tend to come a lot from guys who are unsure. Perhaps, he participated in Vivek's nude yoga class

Actually, that's no excuse for bad behaviour. If your twelve year old went to a person of different ethnicity and made a racial joke, would you accept that? I know I would not. Homophobic jokes are not a laughing matter, just like racial jokes. In fact, Kushal was clearly uncomfortable when he saw Vivek.

It's most likely. And you know, to a certain level it has been observed that men who who try to look down upon effiminate men and treat them as inanimate objects may well be one of them. There's this reverse psychological insecurity that keeps holding them from declaring their own truth. There was this guy in my class named Sachin who would constantly poke fun at Ravi, a very lean, effiminate guy in my class. He would always bring him down, insult him at every step and call him names. Ravi would cry at times, and most of us would console him. As of recent, I came to know that Sachin came out of the closet (apparently he had moved to NY after his 12th board exams). He found a safe haven for gays in NY and declared his homosexuality in the open. You see, it's really not that hard to single out such people who try to drape their weakness under the pretext of pulling others down.

What you said about Kushal might as well be true; just like Sachin.

Absolutely agree! Even a kid understands that poking fun at others over issues they have no control on is downright ridiculous and uncalled for!

Very well put! 👏

Vivek himself knows that kushal did not mean to hurt his profession ..its just kushal's way of talking ...but he clearly declared that tani's smile was bitchy while she laughed while he was doing yoga
Its all about vibes ..he must have got bad vibes from her ...

thats why though kushal kept asking if vivek is directing that comment at him, vivek said no ...
