I agree 100% with you - they have already had inmates suffering short rations. no water for even daily necessities, sleep-deprivation and now this - What if the girl caught some disease or skin infection from the unhygienic exposure? Is Colors going to compensate her for the impact on health or impact on career? And they were inhumane enough to make her sit in it for one hour. Not exactly Being Human.

If after this Ratan gets nominated or fails to win the show I for one will be very disappointed

You know what, in rural India, cowdung is considered purifying so they smear the floors with it. It was not human shit, after all. Ratan could have said NO, and I don't think anyone would have blamed her for refusing. That does not make it offensive. And I really don't understand why Shilpa got so hyper over a haircut.

You know in Urban India we use Lizol/Phenyl for cleaning and disinfecting the floor - does that mean one would use it instead of moisturizer? Wrong logic. And FYI who says only human shit contains harmful germs? Where do you think mosquitoes and house-flies breed? And think about it why life expectancy in rural areas is lesser than the urban areas.


By the way human manure is used in Chinese farms for fertilization - you might want to consider that next time you buy pulses imported from China. :)
