It makes business sense to make Mandana winner.
I am not a fortune teller but looking at the votes cast for Prince and Mandana this week it looks Mandana will win BB9.
Reasons
Prince has polled 2.87 lac votes and Mandana 2.82 lac votes this week.
Presuming in the finale Prince will get double this means about 5.75 lac votes.
If Mandana gets only 75% more(presuming Prince is more popular than Mandana) she will end up polling about 4.95 lac votes.
So how does Mandana score over Prince.
With Ekta and her movie released, can easily spend another 8 lacs to promote Mandana as winner.The other interested party will be the distributors of Kya Kool Hain hum who can invest Rs4lacs to get disproportionate returns.
Finally there is Endemol which has signed up Mandana for a film and can reap benefits by marketing her by spending Rs5 lacs.
Assuming 1lac votes will cost Rs4 lacs this gets her 3 lac additional votes taking her tally to 7.95 votes.
Without attributing motives to Ekta/Balaji, Endemol and the distributors it makes immense sense to spend a few rupees.The publicity that winner gets both in the print media and digital media it it were to be paid it would cost 3 times more.Moreover the title brings in a windfall for the three interested parties and why should they not make the thrust in the last week where it matters most.
This is apart from her PR Dale and the Balaji Family(which has a strong hold on TV industry).
Knowing well how films are marketed and how Ekta scores over others, I have no doubt that she will go for the kill in this last week.
Mandana has also held her own formidable position though no one knew her before BB9.
