It was a sarcastic remark...nothing more! I watched the episode..

Now, i understand how TV news channels pick up a word of politicians/celebrities and make it as a breaking news by changing the context completely.

these r the same ppl who made an issue abt a simple statement like "foreign food main haldi use nahin hota" ...
the same Mandana went on to preach, how in this house, we don't talk abt caste, nationality, religion... and the host supported her n gave Puneet an earful..

so, ya ... in this context, it sounds like an issue to me ..

can't imagine the number of anti-Prince or anti-Kishwer posts that wud have opened in the forum, had Prince or Kishwer made this remark..

That is the exact dialog. What they are discussing is more of a saying than anything else. It is opposite of English babu desi mem syndrome. I can relate more to what Giz is saying because she is from Rajasthan and I have spent most of my life in UP. This is independent of ethnicity or place of residence of the people being talked about. Isn't that what most of the people in forum is saying as well that Nora is doing a showmance and Prince is coming out more as a desperate person?

BTW if the full cool group can discuss about Mandana's character and her life outside the show time and again and people in the forum justifies it then what they are discussing is at least what we are seeing.

I don't think they said in a proud way...I think in a sarcastic way...mandana bf is not gora but she is v.loyal to him...so I don't think she thinks of white that way...

oh dear it was a sarcasm nothing else! they were having fun time together..coz Gizelle and Mandana tried to warn Prince about Nora being a player and Prince blatantly denied it and supported her..from here Giz said kyuki woh gori mem hai toh he is blindly believing her..hence white is always right thing came..it was sarcastic..they meant white is right for Prince not that they believe it!

It was a taunt to Indians that they obsess over white skin. Which is absolutely true.
