Thats a very popular culture definition.. in terms of neurobiology.. dyslexia has nothing to do with learning or comprehension or cognition.. it is simply a disorder of context orders whether its nos. or words.. acute dyslexic people have difficulty reading coz of jumbling.. they are more audio adapted and cognitive just like there are some visual learners.. in analogy dyselxia can be compared to say color blindness as it has similar connotations.. it is not a disability in neurobiology.. coz your brain center for cognition is perfect- its speculated to be due to neural network abberrations..sorry for the jargon- there was no need for gizzelle to use it.. but i didn't mind it so much, as its a common throwaway in our circles.. just like we throw away bipolar at everything.. from a human to the daily weather.. i throw bipolar without thinking as its very ambiguous😆
