As vibg mentioned, a topic never starts of with bashing.This is a discussion forum and people have different perspectives.
This show is based on human behavior and the audience is meanto be a judge of the same.when people put across their opinions with regard to an HMs action, some fans take an aggressive stand and start attacking other HMs. The format of discussion is lost when people don't even offer an explanation for their favorite's action and just post we love this or that post.
These posts qualify as spam and don't make any point at all.
As much as I wish the same as you that people would argue constructively and not become personal , it is actually the toxic fandom which crosses the border of rationality and becomes abusive when they refute any other argument and start chanting their favorite's name .people even indulge in personal attacks when their favorite is questioned.
All that happens after that is just reaction.
I don't agree that sumitkagullu , chullu etc are bashing because they are not even remotely close to the character assassination sonali was put too or the physical appearance of diandra was judged , from her clothes to her hair to her makeup.
Karishma's being selfish was blown out of proportion and her relationships and loyalty questioned at every point.
Dimpy has also never been left alone in that regard.
Pritam's fidelity and integrity was slammed and his marriage was questioned.
Compared to all that, I don't see gautam being called names such an alarming thing.
It is similar to gaunali or gaudra.
