True they both have feelings for each other. But both are egoists and don't accept. Both look real when they are with each other but Gautam definitely cares for her a lot. I don't understand Sonali's rudeness towards Gautam sometimes. When Salman declared her safe he bent and clapped with joy.

I dont know about tears but the hug between them was really nice!! Gautam gave her a tight assuring hug and she hugged him tight too :) whereas with upen it was mutually formal😆

Gautam feels like protecting her and she likes him . it is damn evident :)
