If I could write an open letter to Upen Patel, I would not be a Shilpa Saklani, who drove him to believe that his footage crazy drama last week was the way to go. I agree that he was finally in the limelight, and probably that's why he got saved. But that crazy Upen was not what was palatable at all.

I am not fan of Gautam, but I will say that him doing his crazy nautankis, can only be pulled off by him.

Upen has his own USP, and doesn't need to copy anybody else to stay in the house. He is not getting that point. But today the last 10 minutes when he was genuinely being funny with his friends, was a nice light side to him, that audience will enjoy if he keeps to that. His whole blanket conversation and his antics really were laughter inducing today and he looked very cute and nice laughing and being at ease. THe stress of nominations makes him crazy, but he needs to keep his calm, because Calm Upen rocks, but this crazy pessimistic and chid chida guy does not. He has been the "nice" guy for 13 weeks. Why let go off that? All he was advised over and over again was that he wasn't being seen, because he did nothing. My serious plea to him is stay nice, and be funny and chill out. He has a friend Karishma who has stuck out with him for so long. And if he continues being funny and entertaining like he was in today's task, as well as maintain at least cordial relations with the others, he has a chance of making it to the final and or not getting nominated again next week.

To win, you should know how to play a game, if you don't have a natural flair of grabbing footage, which Gautam has. Gautam's fan following is in crazy numbers, not just on the forum, but even outside. And Upen has the advantage of giving Gautam competition, by being his nemesis, but not by being JUST like him, but by being an alternative to Gautam, which the house severely lacks. (only amongst the boys, otherwise Karishma is the strongest contender opposite him in popularity numbers)

Please, Upen, I would like you to stay in the game, so that there is some challenge to the other group. But, for that I cannot handle your sour face, and acting like a petulent, screaming and irritating child. Just be yourself and add some fun to your day and you will not only emerge in the finals ( and possibly win) but even if not that, you'll come out the better person in all of them and gain some respect, which none of these other housemates have.
