You have to understand a desi mind. We have been bombarded with bollywood movies since our childhood. We have grown on fantasies. We love emotional stories. We crave love. We want love. A girl wants to take the train from London to Amsterdam and meet Raj Aaaryan. A boy wants to find that girl in the bus that is so simple and beautiful. In a tri love story we want the one who is poor but dilwala..we have a bechara mindset...victim mindset...us ke peeche pad gaye saab mindset..we cry..
This is the mindset behind 90 percent watching such shows.
Gautam the tharra is a mastermind. He started as a victim. He would go to camera and talk to audience and say well all are after me. He loves that. He actually loves to be hated in that house. Because he knows he will gain the sympathy of an average desi mind out there.
If this was a more western audience watching or lets say Asian then I bet they would have voted him out. Because in the end their mindset is different. You can pick flaws in that as well as some would say being emotional is good too as we are not robots. However point is that tharras like Gautam are using that to their advantage. Its only the smart ones that see beyond these emotional points or superficial likes that are getting this idiot
Praneet has got it now. He now sees through. He said okay stop being victim. Stop being negative. Those people are not evil. Maybe its you who is doing all this for sympathy.

I feel sorry for people who are not seeing this through. However that is a mindset of a desi. I cant help it.
