I am really curious to know who is voting for her.
From what I have seen there are definitely more people who are against her, yet she seems to be gaining enough votes to save her.

I understand that some people see her as "strong" & "bold" but for most people being Bold & strong does not equate hurting & disrespecting others or searching for loopholes in every rule in the name of strategy. I think this is why there are so many against her.

Maybe a small set of the younger generation identifies with her age & these people could also be voting for her.
However I have a theory. She has an upcoming movie in which she is the heroine. Any negativity she gets could directly affect this movie. So I wonder if its the PR agency of the movie who have been voting ( arranging for votes isnt a big deal, everything is buy-able with money).

What do you guys think?

One of my friend is voting for her saying she is the only one showing all of her emotions... Jan and Rithu are showing their good side only and not aggressive in task... Just now I had argument with her...

It is a bit surprising how she is surviving still. Last year any contestant who acted negative in an episode was eliminated the same week. I feel B.B. protected her a lot. If she had been in the voting list for hitler task or the following week she definitely would have been voted out. Most people I know stopped watching last hear after all the drama queens were eliminated (Gayathri, Julie, Harathi, Oviya), so maybe B.B. decided not to take the same risk this year.

Few people (only few) who are close to me support Aish saying that she has given it all. I don't say anything to them, just listen to them.

But these numbers doesn't reveal the facts clearly.

Say for example, Aish is second in voting. To me, she will be only fourth if voting happens one to one between her and other 3 finalists individually.

That's really how this format works unfortunately and over that indirect scripting done by Vtv also helped her reach this position.

In my opinion, even rithu and janani also doesn't deserve title and vj problem is that she is wild card.

This is a season where no one deserves title. Complete flop season.

I saw tweets by the Galatta.com CEO completely supporting Aishwarya (@crvgalatta). His Twitter handle is basically a propaganda page for her, and he was the one who tweeted that Oviya is entering the house to support Aish. It really is a head scratcher how this girl is getting support this way. Maybe there is some truth to the rumours about her on Twitter? How can someone with no backing get so much support from the media?

There are 6 ways to view the same incident. It is just lot of people are able to connect with her since we are humans and prone to make mistakes. Unfortunately being a good person and being interesting are two different traits. Looks like Rithu falls under first one and Aish falls under second one. It is just the way the society is moving forward. Lot of ladies in my mom's age support Mumz because they can relate to her pain and motherly nature. At the end of the day it also matters which population is interested in voting. A person working in computer field will create n account and vote vigorously while a mom might not invest her to vote. Maybe youngsters feel she has shown all dimensions of her character. I wouldn't create this conspiracy theory of PR. The only PR that came into picture was after Aish mom came to Chennai. Maybe she would have hired someone to spread positive image of her daughter in public.

After a long time...using if...lol dat too for bb...never thought of it...
Agree vth d above 6 ways comment...bb z scripted for sure but some reality also there...

I am not against any contestant,
First bb allowed other state ppl into bb...so they r not discriminating ppl...which z good...using of Tamil card z not good...may b if u take ancestors rithivka n vijayalakmi m8 b Telugu, n others m8 b from Pakistan or some moon...so wat? They r also humanbeing first, rithvija, viji n janani thought of only Tamil gal wiiniing z like trump card or Mumbai sena card...this thought z more bad than d strategy aish uses...

Viji came vth prior knowledge about d personalities so her views n actions are bold enough...if she also one of d 16 from start, her true personality m8 came out...may b in d start with whom she interacted more or mingles more or whatever way possible...v have seen most of d personalites change r8...

Aish z more active..actually she has brain. Just look at d Hitler task...Hitler z like dat only r8../ hair color task, she said bb wat she intended straight n then tried her trick..she never took a sec to plan a strategy it just vth d flow, (fastest brain work from d way they bb z shown)if not for this may b others could have said no or tried some negotiation like ritu n mumtaz...

She z multi talented, sings dances , good memory power ,has brain...cunning or whatever...entertainer...real life character

From d start to end she participates in d game...not conscious abt d tagging she gets...its a game..

She z bold enough to take d criticism from hm's n kh.n fight vth all of them single handedly..n then some Rona dhona.. Ritu directly saying she z -ve ...n she z k ..she z like whatever it z winning z d target...lol may b like arjun only eye z visible not d distractions...youngsters vl connect to her easily...

May b dats y she z getting votes...

Being always good z not possible...
I still can't believe janani finalist n yashika n mumtaz out

Thanks all for posting your inputs. It is definitely interesting to know different points of view.
First off I agree 100% that one of the main reasons she managed to come this far is the way BB manipulated the show. This is not uncommon, BB Hindi did this often to protect the more TRP giving contestants. If anything I was surprised that they didnt do it in BB1.
& yes I dont believe these numbers are an accurate representation at all. Its all situational. Also when it comes to this industry anything goes, so I wont rule out some PR or other agency backing her either.

I think its quite sad that some people only think anger & aggression are "real" emotions. Its easy to spit out all your frustration when angry but having a bit of self control is way more tougher. I am not saying people shouldnt show their anger, but if you show it at the right places then you should be able to stand by it too. The world is made of different personalities & a Janani or Rithvika who are diplomatic or arent as aggressive are quite real too. You can easily make out if it was being faked. To that extent I felt Mumtaz may have faked it at certain places. Its not like they never showed their anger at all. They just had a much higher tolerance level & when pushed both of them did express their anger too.

People keep saying that in Hitler task Aishwarya was just doing the task. I dont get this logic at all. Was she really "just doing the task"? Didnt she remove her personal vengeance in the name of the task? If she would have done the same actions without all the "vechu saye poren" drama, I would have been ok with it. But it was quite obvious that she was pissed with Balaji's words & she used the task to exact revenge. If it was just a task why didnt she do similar actions for everyone else?

& then later when she came to know that people had not liked it, she did a complete back-flip! Apologising to Balaji, calling him "like her dad' etc etc. A really "bold" person should stick by their actions, not keep flipping back & forth as per their convenience.

I am a pro-secularism person as such, but honestly I didnt find anything wrong with Rithvika saying "why shouldnt a Tamil girl win this time?" ( & she stood by this statement even though others tried to twist to mean " only Tamil girls should win" - I think there is a subtle difference in these statements.) You know why? Because the sad truth is in TN, Tamil girls are most underappreciated. Look at all the top Tamil heroines. Most are northerners or from neighbouring states with "fair skin". Many of them even look down upon girls with dusky skin ( didnt Aishwarya also make a comment on Rithvika's skin?) And Rithvika has probably faced this bias a lot in the industry. She is pretty & extremely talented, but sad truth is because of her dusky complexion she may not get the break she truly deserves.
Comparing this statement to Aishwarya's strategies is a joke. As Shariq said, the meaning of the word strategy has been lost. Finding loopholes in rules & exploiting opportunities at wrong moments is not a "strategy".
Maybe I am old school. But this is what I feel.

Even,Since the start of finale week i have started to feel Aish as comparatively better than Rithu,Rithu in her speech and yday task tried to showcase others negative, but aish never in this whole week said anything bad, she's not putting one down to rise herself..
Am splitting my 30 votes b/w viji and aish...
