Somehow I feel all this is a ploy by Mahat, Aish, Yash, Mumtaj. It's not natural how they all fight regularly and then are seen cuddling with each other in the Midnight/Morning Masala episodes. They would have realised that the weekend episodes are being dominated by other players (Nithya/Balaji in the beginning, Ponambalam, Sendrayan, Danny to some extent etc). Yash and Aish were not at all getting any screen time in the weekend episodes except when Ponambalam said anything, and Kamal would mostly ignore Mumtaj unless she loudly says some comments. This way they all get to be the focus point. The witchcraft comments felt extremely out of the blue that it couldn't have been said without some prior discussion. Maybe even the host felt the four of them are creating drama just for attention and decided to ignore their comments, and instead told Rithwika, Janani, Balaji, Sendrayan to play the game too.

Last season's Harathi commented in one of the Big Boss Fun Unlimited episodes that all of them are acting and not even doing a proper job of it. She seems to know most contestants before the show so I will take her word for it. It's obvious that Mumtaj, Aish, Yash have watched all seasons for Bigg Boss Hindi episodes and are scripting a narrative accordingly. They would have advised Mahat also on the same. I only feel sorry for the other contestants. Most of them look tired and defeated like they would rather just stick around for as long as the show decides to have them. Only Danny is giving a good fight to the others. He seems to have recognised the gang's ploy and decided that by associating with them he can get screen time too and get a ride to the finale.
