Anyways all this is just a red herring to deny Teja her rightful win. As of now Teja is clearly the outright winner, fight is for the 2nd place. But by having her parents call n talk to karan they r focusing on Teja's rishta. This could easily have been done outside or even on finale day, but they r doing so now, so that, like the typical patriarchal mindset they can set the narrative that ladki ko ladka mil gaya, bas ab kya chahiye and give the trophy to the spinless, favoured karan!

Yes the call is shown to be made for Teja but it’s clearly to hype the loverboy image of Karan and not to make Teja speak to her parents. One more favor done to the toxic MCP good for nothing BF, but such a slap to his own family who is giving all kinds of rubbish statements outside
And this narrative that is being set by some fandoms by continuously repeating that Teja has already won or she is the sureshot winner is another move to ensure she doesn’t win.
Anyway I don’t think this call is anywhere to motivate Teja or favor her over the rest who have already twice spoken to their families or guests who are their friends keep visiting every now and then
