Nishant not nominating Pratik

I am yet to figure out how he is going to justify not nominating Pratik, the one who literally broke the rules during the captaincy task?? Was it because He had asked Pratik to do it and he took the fall for the same while Nishant got away scot free? Even if that is the case how is he going to justify it to the rest of the contestants? He literally nominated the others for small mistakes like sleeping, smoking( which he himself also does by the way), speaking in English etc and his reason with Karan was faltu.

I wonder if the people who helped him out regret getting him the captaincy. Also he was like he promised to save the contestants from nominations, but his task was to nominate the contestants, like what difference does it make exactly? Not nominating someone is almost the same as keeping the safe now isn't it? Ieshaan and Umar were right in calling him a snake and i'm sure they are going to target him and kick him out somehow.

One thing I don't understand though, why didn't he name Jay for the nominations?
