She has flaws like all others.. good and bad... bt when all get negative for her esp in this forum.. i also feel bad for her..

Producers aren't stupid to invest money on an actor who will eventually be rejected by the masses. It's the audience that matters, not the actors. Nepotism is a vague term. There are aspects of nepotism that prove beneficial to an actor in certain ways - grabbing the first big offer, references and recommendations from someone known within the industry, or even partial investment into a project. However, if the returns do not match expectations, the actor is eventually subsided. If your earnings are in negative (thanks to the actor), how long will you keep compensating for the loses out of your own pocket?

She was a bad actor - period! She did not have a good screen presence and her face was better suited for vamp / negative roles. As a mainstream, commercial Bollywood actress, she had enough chances to shine and she bombed them all.

I didn’t see BBOTT but yes saw her in bb3.

But I love Shamita ❤️She is what she is. You can see her in her eyes… people here / SM also go in bhed chaal sometimes. We actually miss the essence of real person bcz of that.

Infact there are others also who always want to seen everywhere and they are always right. They show off how much they work and bully also in the name of fun. 💯 agree with all the points. She is unnecessarily getting to much hate.. she doing great in show .. ppl just hate her because he is from shetty family .. why use nepotism just to get it in to BB.. she would have lot more work in that case ..

1. Shamita is here because of nepotism! Really? Think again really? Yes, Shamita got Mohabbatein because of Nepotism, but Bigg Boss... hell NO! Let me explain, Shilpa won Big Brother so there was a curiosity to know about her sister, in Season 3, they offered her crazy money to participate. At that time, Bolly actresses used to participate in BB so she did it was BB who went after her. She had to quit because of Shilpa's marriage, so was given another chance in BBOTT/BB15. She also mentioned in BBOTT she was offered before too, but finally gave in this time for good money. Why the money is good? Because of Raj Kundra controversy, again BB went after her she didn't approach. And she was contracted for BB15 during BBOTT signing, she mentioned that as well to Raqesh once in Live feed. What is nepotism, getting somewhere via connection & referral right? Shamita & even Umar in BB15 are NOT because of nepotism, but Karan Kundra, Pratik, Meisha, Ieshan ARE!

2. Shamita to too old!!! Yes....older than others... so what? She looks good, maintains her body, dances well. That's glamour, right? She was cast in the Zee5 show Black Widow as a character younger than her age. In the Bollywood world that's a big deal & a massive achievement for her to maintain herself. Not taking the name, but in a recent episode she was dancing with another big TV name, a younger actress, and definitely, Shamita was looking sexier.

3. Shamita is bossy!! Awesome. That's what BB winners are... look at Gauahar, Shweta, Rubina, or even Siddarth Shukla. It's not a bad quality, and it's not her real-life......if she can command over people in BB house it's a BIGG achievement.

4. Shamita is not doing much (In Kamya Punjabi's version of BB)! I can see her/ Pratik/ Vishal/ Teja the most screenspace-wise. If she is not giving content why would BB waste their show on her?

5. Shamita will reach the finale so that Colors can get Shilpa in family week (Somebody mentioned in another thread). Sorry, use your mind....Shilpa is doing TV already and for the rival channels, she is definitely not coming to BB. In family week her mother will come is needed!

To me, she is doing great on the show, and haters need to watch the show & judge, not by preconceived notions. We have a famous name, who looks good, dances well, has impeccable dressing sense & voices her opinion... what else we want?

PS: I have never voted for her & not a crazy fan, I just like to believe data & not PR posts.

I am loving her 😳 I also liked her in OTT - so its a delight for me to watch her here 😛 I have now become immune to snide remarks and have accepted that being from a known family, she will be forced with certain tags, which hardly matter to me now as it just seems it is done for the heck of it and all the trolling has no substance to it. Had she acted in a way that she is all the time blamed for, I wouldnt mind calling her out. But despite that, I would continue to support her as she is still far better than others who are all the time shielded and pushed ahead. 😊

My honest opinion. I am neutral towards her. I don't love her but neither dislike her.

Shamita is strong and voices her opinion. Also, she has a heart of gold, she is very forgiving.

but I think the issue why a lot of people dislike her is, she comes across as an elitist with superiority complex. One cannot deny that she is controlling and bossy.

She has OCD and it's a psychological disorder where there is this need to control . I know it coz my mom also has it and a lot of people don't like my mom because of her controlling nature but what people don't understand it is, that it's not coming out of superiority complex, it's a psychological disorder.

If Shamita wasn't shilpa shetty's sister and was a waitress or any other profession which pays low /modest income, she still would have the same bossy nature, because she has Obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Queen Shamita lives rent free in her critique's minds. Trust me, her critiques are more busy writing hate posts on her than spending time praising their favorites. 😆

But thankfully, Shamita has managed to make a decent fanbase for herself which can help her to make finals again. She's playing good.

Even her haters have no valid reason apart from nepotism or her face exudes negativity and arrogance. No concrete reason to justify hate against her

I liked her in OTT and liking her here too 👍🏼. She is much better than most of the girls this time.

Simple she is female version of Vikas gupta... In terms of coming again n again on this show as contestant... I like vikas in his first attempt same goes with shamita but after that 🤢🤢,same goes with shamita...also big time disappointed with her in ott
