Here's the situation as I see it:
Disclaimer: I am no fan of Divya. And I am certainly not PR despite some of your previous comments LOL. Mature replies based on evidence and show-based speculation only please.
Chronology of events:
- Divya was bashed by KJo in the first WKV because kuch masala chahiye thah.
- Shamita took his word as gospel and started seriously ignoring Divya.
- It became clear to everyone that the bashing was exaggerated by week three because similar offenses were not called out or attacked as vehemently. Plus KJo saying he is not responsible for Akshara's "interpretation" of his very clear false insinuation that Divya looks down on the bhojpuri audience sealed the deal. Shamita is smart enough to know this.
- Over time, the housemates warmed up to Divya. She has been strongly holding her own without a connection, cooks for everyone, is a pleasant presence around the house to chill with (outside game sitautions), and hasn't been able to participate alot yet is keeping her morale up. That's a likable trait for anyone, especially when you see her cooking for you daily.
- Main point: Shamita experienced some light embarrassment over taking KJo's bullshi+ so seriously, but her ego will not allow her to accept it.
- Shamita's frustrations continue to grow as her closest friend in the house Raqesh very obviously has no hard feelings for Divya at all, is pretty fond of her actually, and only ignores her because of Shamita's requests *ahem* orders.
- The narrative that Shamita controls Raq catches fire. Housemates taunt her about it. Divya's initial issue with her was about her dominance. Maybe she has been called that in past relationships/friendships too so could be a trauma trigger point. Even KJo is now joking about the lip balm thing, the very guy whose word Shamita took as the blind truth. This starts to eat Shamita inside.
- Today, during the auto task, there was a situation where Shamita decided to approach Divya to form an alliance. Divya was very clear about her situation and said she would only play along if Moose betrayed her. (Opinion: The rude and ehsaan-wala way that Shamita approached Divya after all these weeks, I wouldn't have even given her a second of my time. Her ego is sky-high.)
- Then, during the auto task, as expected Moose didn't betray Divya. So obviously Divya didn't execute Shamita's plan. This destroyed Shamita's ego internally. She approached the woman she has been ignoring for weeks and yet she came out being the loser here. So the mean girls wala heavy ignore natak started eventually ending in the big confrontation. Divya is not at all to blame in any of this. Anyone in her place would be irritated. How long is someone supposed to be treated like a second class citizen woh bhee based on baseless crap that everyone else does anyway? This all started because KJo/creative wanted to paint a ghatiya love triangle and Shamita knows it. She is too stubborn to accept that her initial reading of the situation was wrong.
- Additional mental baggage Shamita is probably carrying internally: she knows she has bitched alot, she knows she has used horrible insults towards others, she knows she has clearly slu+ shamed Moose and questioned her upbringing behind her back. She didn't get bashed for it. But she knows the camera caught it. If indeed her purpose of coming to the show was to establish an identity for herself outside her last name, then it backfired because unfortunately for her she is getting a character one of a favored nepo-kid. This isn't directly her fault. But she's smart enough to notice the pattern. And its gotta be killing her inside too.
Moral of the story: When you misread a situation, believe something later proven wrong, or overreact to something don't let ego lead the way. Fix the situation. Otherwise it will eat you up inside. Be the bigger person and make amends. Now Shamita is trapped too far in this cycle of hate for Divya. She doesn't just hate her for all the week one stuff anymore, but also for her own dislike towards the symbolism of how she's being portrayed, how Raq is not understanding her internal turmoil, and how KJo took her for a ride and made her look like a fool. Divya has become the face of all of Shamita's problems in the house now.
