Divya can have basic respect for KJo

Karan Johar might not be the best host but the way Divya treats him is so obnoxious. Karan has achieved a lot in life and has been in the industry for years now while Divya is still comparatively new. She could have a little respect for him (even if she disagrees with him). The way she talks to him like he is nothing is not justified. If she would have done this with Salman Khan, he would have thrown her out like he did some seasons ago with problematic contestants. Divya knows that she can use nepotism against Karan to get support outside and even win this show just by doing this and that’s why she keeps instigating him and talking to him the way she does.

PS: Waiting for Divya to achieve half of what Karan has achieved with this attitude (impossible lol)

She could - be more respectful - but then, that would be missing out on the anti-KJO and nepotism wave advantage no? And besides, Divya ke bas ka nahi hain - to stand her ground without being disrespectful. She doesn’t have what it takes, courtesy her arrogance and self-inflated view of herself and her achievements.

Totally agree with you. Divya is playing her own Big Boss with Karan Johar when probably he doesn’t even care about her past that one hour of hosting. Truly low on her part. But what irks me even more is that she has nothing to offer to the game other than this negativity (also too much of over confidence) and constantly lashing against Karan and Shamita to take advantage. That’s literally her game. I’d wish someone more dignified could take her spot who could actually play the game and be smart.

I agree you can disagree without being direspectful.

she can point out how kjo has worked with shamita and neha and regards them higher than others, which isn't bad outside of the game but becomes unfair. its almost can be a conflict because who isn't biased for people they've worked with.

or she can point out how his bashing led to people misinterpreting her. also idk its a show so you to have a decoram ik in indian reality tv that doesn't exist but kjo is the host.

imagine in d plus or some other show a contestent said the judges were biased. that is disrespectful.

Divya is pathetic! There's no redeeming qualities about her, she's a filth! I just hope she tries to do the same nonsense before Salman, & then Salman opens the door for her & throw her out like he threw out Jagga.

She's a wannabe reality star & thinks of herself as some superstar that she can talk to people in such disrespectful manner.

I think either she is deliberately doing it, to cash in on that typical "look how the host is targeting me and look how I am not bowing down to him" crap, or since she is already such a badtameez ill mannered girl, she can't help it. I don't like KJo much but he certainly doesn't deserve this kind of attitude and badtamizi and that too from a nobody like her. I remember how Salman used to bash so many contestants just for fun, like Arshi,KV etc. But did any of them show him that kind of arrogance? Nope. Host se attitude me baat karne ka matlab ye nee hota ki you are giving back to him, there's a thing called professional conduct, and Divya lacks any kind of decency, politeness whatsoever. Ye to KJo ka job hai jo use jhel raha hai warna real life me aise logo ko muh na lagae

I like KJO but it was unfair on his part to give assumptions on Divya especially on someone's status while Shamita gets a free pass. He kind of spoiled her game. But Divya should move on and stop cribbing otherwise she is asking for trouble. She can literally win if she can control her rinse and repeat statements of herself and the reality shows she did.

Divya was quite open to giving him respect, but when he mercilessly bashed her the first week, spewed lies against her in the house and pitted Shamita, Raqesh and Neha against her, called her a 'Homewrecker' for no real reason - Divya realized that Karan Johar is not worthy of respect.

Respect flows from the heart for someone. It is earned, not forced. It is not earned simply through the work you do or the 'reputation' you carry - but it's earned by the heart you have, the character you display and based on how you treat someone.

Granted that Divya maybe a nothing before him. Uh so? Does everything have to be weighed in terms of what one has achieved? Divya is a Human Being first, before an artist or a celebrity. As a Human, she deserved respect - she has her friends, has her family, has her fans watching her. You cannot tear apart someone's character like that on National TV, lie against them and expect that person not to defend themselves, or to show you respect. Karan Johar did not give her that BASIC respect as a human and termed her what not - TF Divya is expected to respect him for his achievements 🤣 Divya is the kinda girl, who would be very happy to be shown the door by a moron of a host, than to lick his feet. If Karan asks her to leave, she will. He won't dare do that seeing the support she has outside, but with a host as biased you just never know.

Another thing - I am sorry, but Divya is not a Doormat unlike Raqesh Bapat.

'Your reputation is what others think of you; your character is what you truly are'. Divya is smart enough to realize that Karan Johar's character is that of a liar, a schemer and a biased person and host, - he lacks greatly in passing equally harsh judgements towards all contestant. Therefore, she's decided not to care to give respect based on 'his reputation', but treated him based on how he treated her. So what if he's the host? From what I see, I don't think she the kind that's afraid to leave the show, she'd rather leave than own up to the fiction KJo spewed against her.

If someone lied against me on National TV, called me a homewrecker or spewed venom against me to everyone else in the house, for absolutely no reason (as Pratik fought and created more discord in the first week, but he was left scot free), I would hate that person too . KJo lacks character, integrity, morals, to be lying against a contestant so blatantly and for blindly favoring Shamita in everything, letting her speak endlessly, while shutting other contestants up.

Fortunately, Divya is not a doormat to agree with KJo's bullying and lies against her. She does not owe him any respect! Respect is earned, not demanded. Divya seems to know her worth.

If you wanna counter the host, then do it respectfully, like Gauahar used to do on BB7. There's a fine line between justifying yourself/putting across your points & being straight up disrespectful, Divya is the latter.

She's definitely trying to please the ''ssr warrior'' audiences who hate KJo to gain their support.
