The knife thing was not just a thought of Rahul.

I really don't understand how anyone could defend Rahul "thinking" of using knife in buzzer task.

It wasn't just a thought. If it was just a thought, we or the housemates would've never known about it. Because Rahul himself won't have told anyone. He would've realized that it's a completely stupid thought in less than a minute. Gauhar need not have to tell him that it's stupid to use knives.

The fact that he started preparing for the task, discussing with other housemates and Gauhar, and they had to tell him to not use it, makes it NOT JUST A THOUGHT.

You can't compare it with people having random thoughts of doing crazy stuff like killing someone. Because we just think it as a fantasy. We never think of doing it practically. Rahul was practical about using knives.

On top of this when Abhinav asked him, if he thinks it was wrong of him to use knife, he said no

This is not about supporting Abhinav or Jasmine. Rahul was right in questioning Abhinav when he was saying he isn't feeling safe with a person who thinks it's normal to use knives in a task, but is now okay with Nishant using harpic in a task as he's friends with him now.

Using harpic for torture in tasks is not normal, and neither is "thinking" of using knives.

True, no matter how much I like Rahul due to Indian Idol nostalgia but here he was wrong in even thinking of using Knives. It's too dangerous for a mere task. Truly, he's one of the dangerous guys in house, who knows no limits. The way he used Nepotism comment in his favour to milk the situation was very clever and then this knives thing was revealed, which has actually lowered support for him.

Wrong is wrong whether that person who did that mistake accept it or not.

I won't say Rahul has criminal mindset. But I am judging him as per his actions. He thought to use knife to protect the buzzer but Gauhar told him not to do so.That "thought" of using knife is wrong because it might cause injury to anyone.I understand he didn't mean to attack people but his intention was to scare them.Knife use karoge toh koi bhi darega paas aanese agar galati kuch hogaya toh.But we can't expect all other people to acknowledge his intention beforehand. They would definitely take him as a person who had the intention to hurt people in the name of task.If Gauhar wouldn't stop him he might attempt to use (although BB rok dete itna sense toh bacha hai unme).

I would feel glad if he would accept that yes I thought of using knife which was wrong that could hurt people.

Naina told him jo galat hai wo galat hain it cannot be justified. He stood firm justifying the thought of using knife was not wrong.

Definitely and that's why I felt Jasmine's initial reaction was justified. She was scared because of past experiences and thats fine. What she did after was stupid.

And ofcourse he would have no problem attacking; who's to say if he did use it to scare, he wouldn't use it to attack? Even if he was pretending. He's lucky Gauhar stopped him or that would've been a kick out for sure.

If he meant no harm he should've no problem in accepting it was wrong. But he is so crass and cheap he won't accept his mistake. Most of the time its not what he says that's wrong it's how he says it. He just has that tone that where he comes across patronizing.

Rahul was trying to justifying his thought of using knife.

Thought of using knife or using harpic is equally not acceptable.

Yes Abhinav and Nishant friends now but I think Nishant apologized for his mistake but here Rahul was adament that he is not wrong😔
