Sockets in the smoking room

When Pavitra was in the smoking room, there were 3 electric plugs on the wall behind her. And there was a black plug in one of them. What could it possibly be for??

It looked like a phone charger to me. And if it is, are we still supposed to believe this is a non scripted show??

I think it’s because they use things like hairdryers in there because they make a huge amount of noise, that’s why I think there’s a “no talking” / “one person” rule in the smoking area.

may be they are for rechargeable e cigarettes.
