Vikas Gupta is Bigg Boss' hitman this season - called in to do all the dirty work of pushing their narrative by any or all means possible, while, and clean up afterwards.
This family / friends week is a farce, an excuse to bring this pro channel group into the show. They really aren't adding anything to the show, other than furthering the same divides or pushing ghisa pita angles.
The idea of this week has always been to bring VG in to prop up the channel favourites, while maligning the image of those who pose a threat to their narrative - with a little help from other bit part fame chasers. To easily malign a young up & comer's image to protect fragile egos, money rackets and selfish interests is wrong on so many levels.
I don't particularly like VG. But my impression was he was a high ranking channel executive, but he does seem to be justifying the vindictive, petty, nepotist tag he's been saddled with.
